Sunriver Oregon

Sunriver is an unincorporated, integrated community of villages just fifteen miles south of Bend, Oregon. Each village contains single and multi-family residences, resort, commercial and industrial properties. Sunriver is a popular Northwest destination vacation location with a diverse selection of year round recreation activities.

Sunriver is a great place to spent time relaxing and/or engaged in wonderful, exciting recreational activities. The community now has nearly 3,000 private homes and nearly 1,000 condominiums. In addition to the facilities offered by the Sun Valley Resort, many of the private dwellings and condominiums can be rented for overnight or short periods of time. There are also various real estate opportunities available in the area.

While in Sunriver, you can enjoy biking, tennis, horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, and golf. For dining and shopping, you will find a shopping mall filled with numerous stores and boutiques, a post office, a state liquor store, restaurants, and arts and crafts workshops.

Other attractions include fun and activities for the entire family, summer or winter. Drive the Cascade Lakes Highway, fish in the many clear lakes, streams and rivers. Explore the natural volcanic wonders, or enjoy skiing at Mt. Bachelor.

Although Sunriver is now a thriving community, it continues to offer a haven to birds that are migrating and a sanctuary for deer and elk. Here you will also find otters, nesting swans and wood ducks, some coyotes and eagles – making it an ideal location for wildlife viewing.
