The Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place on a Friday in the local park. This is followed by a holiday parade the next day – Saturday. Floats, local organizations including bands and dancers, and individuals join the parade through town. Of course, no introduction to the Christmas season would be complete without the appearance by Santa and Mrs. Clause. This is fun for the entire family.
