Bend Summer Festival
Bend, Oregon could easily be called the "Festival City". Here they celebrate everything with a "festival". From the onset of summer, to the coming of fall, from music to eating, if it's worth celebrating, then a business or businesses in Bend will hold a festival. The Bend Summer Festival is usually held the first week of July and is a kick off for all the subsequent celebrations of the year.

Bank of the Cascades Bend Summer Festival A variety of activities for all ages, celebrating summer.
The event features a wide array of performing arts including dance, children’s activities, and the best regional and national jazz, blues, rock and international musicians.
There are over 150 artists from around the country showcasing their work. The Pronghorn Jazz, Wine and Gourmet Foods area always has a stellar line up of musicians performing with a street full of the best vintners and gourmet foodies in our region.
For kids, The True North Parenting Magazine Kids Block Party keeps the family busy and cool. Inflatables, arts, crafts and WATER games will be offered. From 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday night join the Pajamy Jam! Kids can come to Mirror Pond plaza in their pj's and dance, draw, jump and close the evening with a story before bedtime.

Overview: Each year the streets of downtown Bend are blocked off, and vehicle traffic is replaced by foot traffic. The streets are filled with vendors providing arts and crafts, information, food, beer and wine. In addition, each evening the air is filled with the music generated by large stage music events and musical artists

The Bend Summer Festival is a way to highlight the downtown area of Bend. Sponsored by the Bank of the Cascades and the Bend Downtowners Association, this yearly event is a lively celebration of summer in the Cascades.
