Bend offers a variety of excellent outdoor recreation, such as hiking and camping. That’s why there are several places where travelers who are “roughing it” or on a budget can enjoy a hot shower and launder their clothing after an active day outdoors.
Shower facilities in Bend
While you’re visiting Bend, you can get a hot shower and a warm place to stay for only $15 at the Bend Cascade Hostel located on Century Drive. Two campgrounds close by also have hot shower facilities, although you will usually need to pay a small day use or camping fee to use them. These include Tumalo State Park just 4 miles north of Bend, and the KOA Campground just off Highway 20.
Shower facilities outside Bend
Several campgrounds outside of Bend also have hot shower facilities for a fee, including the Deschutes Campground, the canyon rim and lakeside campgrounds at Cove Palisades State Park, and Prineville Reservoir State Park.
